The Department of Health in Abu Dhabi has reduced the price of the Covid-19 PCR test to AED65.
Previously, the cost of getting the PCR test was AED85 in Abu Dhabi.
“The cost of Covid-19 (PCR) test is revised to be AED65 for a single run, including collection and testing of the sample,” the authority said.
The new and revised price for the test comes after the latest directives from the local authorities for a mandatory PCR test to be done every 14 days for unvaccinated employees in five sectors including hotels, restaurants, transportation, and health, as well as social and personal activities such as laundries, beauty salons, and hairdressers.
