The atmosphere was electric at the Al Satwa Court near the Chelsea Plaza Hotel Al Mankhool, as the White Team Ball Era Elite clinched a nail-biting 39-38 victory over the Blue Team RBA in the Al Hana Exhibition Match.
Organized as a corporate social responsibility initiative by Al Hana Modern Medical Centre, the one-day event aimed to raise awareness of the medical institution's presence in the Al Jafliya area.
Led by Dr. Omar Abbas, CEO & Managing Director of Al Hana Modern Medical Centre, and orchestrated by Creative Event Management CEO & Managing Director Michico Lopez Ramos, the event received significant support from Puma Hoops Brand Ambassador & Team Pilipinas Coach, Ron Sanchez, Batang Satwa Community & Ball Era Elite.
With each quarter consisting of 10 minutes of stop time, the closely contested game kept fans at the edge of their seats until the final moments of the fourth quarter.
Beyond being a thrilling match, the event served as a manifestation of Al Hana Modern Medical Centre's slogan "Connecting Wellness and Sports Lifestyle Winning." The institution is committed to a holistic approach to healthcare and aims to harness the power of sports to foster a vibrant and resilient community.
The event also saw a special appearances of Dr. Ian Victor M. Aquino, Dental Surgeon and Dr. Michelle Bobadilla, Medical Director, GP.
The exhibition match also played a vital role in preparing the participating teams for the upcoming Season II of Sports Mania WBL. Al Hana Modern Medical Centre plans to continue its community engagement by being an active participant in the seasonal event.
Another key objective of the event was to prepare the Women's Pilipinas Team for their upcoming participation in Sports Mania WBL Season II, furthering Dr. Omar Abbas' commitment to advancing sports within the community.
