In a bid to vaccinate senior citizens against the deadly coronavirus, the authorities in Dubai have started the inoculation with them at their homes.
The initiative was launched by Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).
Announced on Sunday, the initiative also aims to ensure seniors who are unable to visit medical centers have easy access to the vaccine against Covid-19.
The UAE, according to the latest reports, has already administered over 4.2 million Covid-19 doses at a distribution rate of 42.48 doses per every 100 people.
The health authority in Dubai said that it has already coordinated with the CDA to identify registered seniors.
