A Dubai-based entrepreneur helped a family couple by paying their hospital bill worth AED57,000 or some P750,000 for the treatment of their premature-born twins.
Hassan Fardan Al Fardan, the chief executive of Al Fardan Exchange, helped the Filipino couple after their call for help was published on The National.
The couple, John and Monica Tubo, reportedly brought their twins to NMC Royal Hospital for treatment. However, the mother had already maxed out her annual health insurance allowance of AED150,000 for the twin’s treatment.
Both of their salaries would also not suffice for the treatment as John works as a salon cleaner while Monica works as a nanny in the emirate.
The mother told the report how grateful she was after hearing the initiative of the good samaritan.
“The most enlightening experience is that of giving back to the communities we serve and kindness is a language that the Al Fardan family understands,” Al Fardan said.
