In the UAE, an awareness campaign has been created to ensure that e-scotter users observe traffic rules.
This project is a Federal Traffic Council effort aimed at motivating motorcyclists to respect safety standards.
The initiative, with the tagline “Traffic safety for e-scooter users,” encourages people to drive electric vehicles exclusively on approved pathways and zones.
When riding an e-scooter at night, users should wear knee bumpers and fluorescent clothes. E-scooters were made legal in ten districts and on cycling trails last month.
