The Philippines pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 has reached its final stages and is set to be handed over next month.
This was confirmed by the Philippine ambassador to the UAE Hjayceelyn Quintana after visiting the pavilion recently.
“We are in solidarity with the UAE as it forges ahead with optimism for the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai on October 1. The construction of the national pavilions, including the Philippines’ Bangkota, moved at an immense pace, showing the UAE’s extraordinary ability as host of this global event to overcome unprecedented challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic,” she was quoted as saying by Khaleej Times.
The pavilion of the Philippines is situated in the Sustainability District. It asserts cultural sustainability across thousands of years.
