Folk pop and pop rock band Ben & Ben will be heading to Dubai this month to perform live at the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai.
Announced tonight, Expo 2020 Dubai, through its Instagram account, said that the Filipino band will be performing live on Thursday, January 27 at the Jubilee Stage at 8pm.
“From Philippines to Dubai, Ben & Ben are coming to perform LIVE at Expo 2020! Join us on January 27 to sing along to their heartfelt lyrics and vibe to their electric, youthful and creative tunes,” Expo 2020 Dubai announced on its Instagram.
The band was formed in 2015 and has been known for their hit songs such as Pagtingin and Lifetime.
For two straight years–from 2020 to 2021–they are ranked as the most streamed Filipino artist on Spotify.
Brothers Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin Guico are the lead vocals and acoustic guitarists of the band.
They have won several awards, including multiple Awit Awards, Myx Awards, and Wish Awards. Their debut studio album Limasawa Street was certified 3× Platinum in the Philippines by PARI earning 45,000 copies.
