In a bid to strengthen community ties and foster growth, the Filipino Social Club Dubai spearheaded a landmark Community Leaders Meeting at the Canadian University Dubai yesterday, March 24, 2024.
The event, graced by the esteemed presence of H.E Ambassador Alfonso Vera and officials from the Community Development Authority (CDA), marked a significant milestone in the Filipino community's journey towards unity and progress.
One of the key highlights of the meeting was the announcement of the activation of several new clubs and groups under the FilSoc umbrella. These entities, recognized for their unwavering dedication and adherence to legal requirements, were honored with certificates of accreditation from the Board of Directors of Filipino Social Club Dubai, in the presence of CDA officials.
The meeting also served as a platform to encourage other groups to emulate these admirable endeavors, with hopes of fostering a stronger and more united Filipino community.
Furthermore, the inauguration of the newly accredited sub-groups will be celebrated during the 126th Philippine Independence Day Celebration, the Official Kalayaan 2024 event of the Filipino Community in Dubai. This event is scheduled for June 8, 2024, Saturday, from 8 AM to 8 PM at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Zabeel Hall 3.
