Man in Dubai Slapped With Dh250,000 Fine For Sending Insulting Message To Woman

An Arab man in UAE is fined with AED250,000 for sending insulting and abusive messages to a woman through the messaging app WhatsApp. 

Apart from paying a hefty fine, he will also pay an amount of AED20,000 for compensation to the woman. 

The woman, who is also an Arab descent, filed a formal complaint before the authorities claiming that the man was sending her abusive and insulting messages on WhatsApp.
