UAE has administered more than seven million Covid-19 vaccines as of Friday, March 19 at a distribution rate of 72.03 doses per 100 people.
“The successful methodology of the UEA continues to protect our society from the pandemic,” Dr. Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said.
More than 205 medical centres across the country are facilitating the Covid-19 vaccines.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (Mohap) confirmed that as of March 20, the total number of doses provided stood at 7,124,146.
“This is in line with the ministry’s plan to provide the Covid-19 vaccine to all members of society and efforts to reach acquired immunity resulting from the vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the Covid-19 virus,” Mohap added.
