More than 98 percent of UAE residents are confident of the Covid-19 safety measures being implemented by the government, a new survey revealed.
The survey further showed that the national government’s response to Covid-19 increased the sense of security and safety among residents to 98 percent.
“The study conducted by Ministry of Health and Prevention, and Community Development also proved that the measures taken by the government had contributed in enforcing family bonds to 97 percent,” Mona Khalil, Director of the Government Communication Department at the Ministry of Community Development, said.
Among the most important precautionary measures taken by the UAE to mitigate the spread of the virus are social distancing and home quarantine.
“They have also further brought families together, reinforcing family bonds,” Khalil added.
“Virtual and simple weddings without gatherings have helped keep Covid-19 cases in check. They have in no way reduced the happiness and joy of such events. It has helped in not only protecting health but also reduced expenses and financial burdens on families,” Khalil further added.
