Umm Al Quwain’s Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management has recently issued new rules for public safety in Ramadan this year, including banning family gatherings and visits.
Families, on the other hand, are urged to get together virtually.
Meanwhile, iftar and commercial Ramadan tents, whether set up by private individuals or any organization, are also banned.
Distributing Qurans and other gifts is also banned in workplaces.
Even restaurants are prohibited from distributing suhoor meals inside or in front of their businesses; only contracted restaurants may only distribute meals to labor camps and accommodations authorized by entities in coordination with the management of the labor camp.
