A new set of driving license was announced in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).
According to RAK Police, new rules include the mandatory 15 training lessons for all incoming applicants.
"The move is aimed at improving traffic safety in the emirate," Brig. Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al Humaidi, Director-General of the Central Operations, RAK Police, said.
Applicants now also need to clear night training lessons.
"A section of new drivers doesn't need master all the skills that are necessary to take to the UAE's roads, especially at night," he added.
