The Ministry of Education in the UAE has recently imposed the mandatory PCR test for teachers and education staff at public schools every 14 days.
The new rule, however, excludes those who have received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
A similar rule was announced in Sharjah for private schools.
Teachers and education staff, according to a WAM report, need to shoulder the expense of getting tested for Covid-19 every 14 days.
Meanwhile, those who are not fit to take the vaccine are also required to get tested for the virus, however, the ministry will shoulder the cost.
