A 48-year-old Filipina nanny died after being hit by a car in Dubai Hills in Dubai last February 2, 2023.
According to an Expatmedia.net report, the victim, Gina A.S, was trying to catch the free bus when she was hit by a car at the pedestrian crossing.
Gina was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
Hailing from Mlang in North Cotabato, her daughter shared on a Facebook post that her mother had been working overseas for nearly a decade and hadn’t seen her family within that time.
“You worked so hard, but this is what happened to you… I can’t accept what happened,” Britney said in a post in Filipino.
The daughter, 20, said she was only 4 when her mother left to work abroad.
