The Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) in Cebu has been hailed as the best airport in the Asia Pacific region during the Asia-Routes Awards.
The airport in the Philippines was rated with other airports under the five million passengers category by the aviation networking firm Routes Online in its Airline and Destination Marketing during the annual Routes' Awards held in Chiang Mai in Thailand on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
The terminal 2 of the same airport has also recently bagged the World Architecture Festival in the Completed Buildings-Transport category.
