UAE Man Slapped With AED10,000 Fine For Filing False Report Against Wife

An Arab man in Ras Al Khaimah has been ordered to pay AED10,000 fine for allegedly filing a false report against his own wife, Khaleej Times reported.
The man falsely reported that his wife stole cash from him, official documents, and a car. He also claimed that his wife has kidnapped their daughters and their housemaids.
The Ras Al Khaimah Misdemeanour Court ruled the man was guilty of filing a bogus report. Meanwhile, his lawyer insisted that he did not loge a false police report.
“He complained that his wife left their marital house without her permission after stealing all the official documents, and AED200,000 he kept in his safe,” he said.
