UAE Volleyball Association organizing Team officially announced the current Team standing as of Round 1 Match results.
UAEVBA Women’s National Volleyball Tournament on its 4th Season Year 2018-2019 opened formally its first game last December 2018 till March 2019. The gigantic annual Inter Emirates Volleyball League was organized by United Arab Emirates Volleyball Association & Federation having a vision to promote sports excellence , camaraderie and teamwork to all nationalities.
Under the Patronage of Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Almuttawa General Secretary and Chairman of Sports & Events Commitee, Mr. Yousef Mahmood Almulla, Mr. Mohamed Fekri President of UAEVBA & HH Sheikha Shamsa Bint Haser Al Maktoum Member of the Board of Directors Emirates Volleyball Federation & Chair Person of the National Elected Committee.
The said exhilarating Tournament divides the Teams into two Brackets - A & B by a drawlots system & will play on a Double Round Robin arrangement - in 3 out of 5 Set Match by different Clubs & Teams in the UAE such as : Bracket A : Al Wasl Ladies Club, La Villa Women's Team, Al Wasta Ladies Club & Shabab Al Ahli Ladies Club. Backet B : Esperia Team, Sharjah Ladies Club, Shakey's UAE WVT, Chevrolet Team & Sharkia Ladies Club.
Amongst the most awaited Filipino teams who will have a back-and-forth clash with other rivals is Shakey' UAE WVT led by Captain Ball Ms. Cherry Ailyn Ferrer, whose currently on Bracket B 3rd Place, showcased a true kabayan playing skills, great talents, agility & a thrilling endurance with their back-to-back kills in every match, with powerful attackers & precise reflexes all aiming for one goal which to be included in Semi-Final match & apparently for Championship Game supported by EuroCake, FPEM, Akaz & Kabayn Weekly.
