In a significant boost ahead of their participation in the prestigious Sports Mania Division 1 league, Team Pilipinas received backing from Filipino community leaders based in the UAE.
On a recent occasion, team members attended the oath-taking ceremony of the new set of officers at the Filipino Social Club - Dubai (FilSoc-Dubai).
During this event, they had the opportunity to meet high-ranking officials from both the UAE and the Philippine government.
The event not only served as a networking platform but also fortified the relations between Team Pilipinas and influential entities within the UAE and back home in the Philippines.
This collaboration hints at a brighter future, fostering unity and camaraderie through sports, bridging connections and strengthening bonds between these nations.
Guided by the leadership of Coach Ron Sanchez, Team Pilipinas is slated to join the international league’s Sports Mania Division 1 in the UAE on September 26, 2023.
The team expressed their heartfelt gratitude to FilSoc-Dubai and other supporting organizations for standing with them as they gear up for the significant event later this month.
